How Learning Python Helps Me Understand AI in Marketing
As a marketing major, I didn’t expect to spend this much time learning Python or thinking about AI from a technical perspective—but I’m really glad I am. This week, I’ve started to see how learning Python is actually helping me understand how AI works behind the scenes, especially in ways that are super relevant to marketing. For example, the same kinds of algorithms I study in my classes—like those used in customer targeting, content recommendations, or ad optimization—are powered by code and data. Knowing how those systems work helps me see the "why" behind what we do in marketing strategy. Even though I’m not planning to become a full-time programmer, understanding the basics of Python helps me think more critically about how AI tools work.
